Our platform is designed to be fast, privacy-focused, and completely static—meaning all data is processed at build time and served directly from a CDN, ensuring lightning-fast load times and zero server costs.

Data Source

All anime information on this site is sourced from the anime-offline-database, an open-source project that aggregates data from multiple anime platforms including:

• MyAnimeList (MAL)
• AniList
• Kitsu
• Anime-Planet

The database is licensed under the Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL) v1.0 + Database Contents License (DbCL) v1.0.

Technology

AnimeDekho is built using modern web technologies:

• Astro 4.x - Static Site Generation framework
• Tailwind CSS - Utility-first CSS framework
• TypeScript - Type-safe JavaScript
• Cloudflare Pages - Edge deployment and CDN

The entire site is pre-rendered at build time, ensuring optimal performance and SEO while maintaining a smooth user experience.

Privacy & Data

We do not collect, store, or process any personal data. AnimeDekho is a completely static website that:

• Runs entirely in your browser
• Does not use cookies or tracking scripts
• Does not require user accounts or registration
• Does not store any user preferences or history

All anime data is embedded in the site at build time and served directly from a CDN. Your browsing experience is completely private and anonymous.

Please note that:

• All information is loaded from a local JSON dataset shipped with the site
• Data may not always reflect the most recent changes on streaming platforms
• The database is updated periodically, but not in real-time
• Some anime entries may have incomplete information
